Scott Chapman
President, CEO, and Co-Founder
Scott sets the vision and strategic direction for Project Hosts. He leads the company’s growth initiatives across sales, marketing, strategic partnerships, and the broader cloud ecosystem. A pioneer in cloud-based Microsoft application hosting, Scott founded two successful hosting companies — one of which was acquired by a public firm. Before launching Project Hosts in 2003, he built a career in management consulting at McKinsey & Company. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Yale and a PhD in physics from UC Berkeley.
James Flavin
CFO and Co-Founder
James shapes the company’s technology vision and infrastructure strategy. He’s the architect behind Project Hosts’ Custom Cloud Architecture™ and Data Center Design Reference Platform, which form the technical backbone of its Microsoft PPM, SharePoint, and CRM custom cloud solutions. With more than 20 years of experience in the computer industry, James brings deep expertise in platform delivery for enterprise applications. He holds multiple Microsoft certifications, including MCSE and MCDBA.
Joshua Krueger
CISO
Joshua, a U.S. Army veteran with a background in C4I operations, leads Project Hosts’ security, privacy, and compliance efforts. Since joining in 2016, he has held key roles including CISO, CPO, and FSO, and was appointed to the Federal Secure Cloud Advisory Committee in 2024. He holds a Cyber Security degree and multiple certifications, including CISSP, CCSP, and CMMC.
David Lewis
CTO
David leads the evolution of Project Hosts’ technology landscape, ensuring it supports the most demanding compliance requirements — from FedRAMP and HITRUST to DoD IL4 and IL5. With over a decade of experience in cloud architecture and application integration, David oversees platform innovation, scalability, and security. He holds a B.S. in applied physics with honors, along with multiple Microsoft and AWS certifications, including Azure Solutions Architect Expert and AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
Levi Aylsworth
COO
Levi Aylsworth oversees all aspects of Project Hosts’ business operations, with a focus on service performance, process improvement, and customer satisfaction. An 11-year U.S. Air Force veteran and seasoned IT leader, Levi brings over 20 years of experience leading global teams and driving operational excellence. At Project Hosts, he ensures that every engagement runs smoothly — from deployment through ongoing compliance support — and that customers receive consistent, high-quality service.
Raymond de Avila
Vice President of Growth and Market Strategy
Raymond leads Project Hosts’ sales, marketing, partner relationships, and revenue growth initiatives. With a proven track record of accelerating results, enhancing customer relationships, and delivering an elite buying experience, Ray brings a strategic focus to helping clients solve their biggest compliance challenges. He holds a degree from San Diego State University and completed executive education programs in persuasion and negotiation at Harvard University. He is certified in dozens of leadership and sales development programs, and has helped build high-performing teams and sales operating models at technology companies around the world.
